The sushi was great and the miso soup, which many places mail in, was also really good.

A lovely place

This has become our favorite UES Sushi place.

Nothing special! But still good.

Place is clean, the staff is amazingly polite and the food is tasty.

This is a sushi gem! We came back for the first time after management changed and were blown away by the quality of the food. The salmon sashimi was better than at much more expensive places such as Nobu etc - it melted in your mouth. We also loved the creative variations of popular dishes. This is our new go-to sushi place on the UES.

very high quality sushi at affordable prices, and terrific 'uni shooters.' the back room is beautiful, assuming no screaming children (really, parents, why do we all have to suffer?). alas, the fancy brand tea they sell is not very flavorful. next time i'll pay for tea but bring my own.

It's a great neighborhood place for excellent Japanese food, whether from the kitchen or the sushi station. And the bar is extra special: great service and professional mixology.

Amber has a very nice ambiance. I would recommend sitting in the back. The food here is good if you're into asian fusion fare, the menu is similar to that of Fusha and it's pretty good

A favorite spot. Everything is good, including drinks.

View nice restaurant. Decor and cool, they have these Log chandeliers in the back room I really like. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well.However I did not eat here, I was filming a TV show. Their plating however was very nice and seemed pretty busy around noon.Won't mind come back for a date when I am in the area.

The staff was more than friendly and accommodating (for disabilities). I honestly felt at home. The décor was Asian themed and the food. Their lunch menu is off the hook. I freaking love their food. Good job.

Great food with helpful staff. My family was visiting and even though we were a big group they took good care of us. They even gave us plenty of gluten free options for my mom. Awesome job guys!

Went for brunch after an event on a Sunday and the deal was appraiser meal with drink $ 17 to $ 20 mice deal. Sushi very fresh and large pieces over lightly seasoned rice. Wasabi too mild for my taste. Clean atmosphere modern but a could have been more brightly lite but it was a very cloudy day so no natural light though windows. Would definatly revisit if I were in the neighbourhood.

What a fantastic vibe at Amber! I love a sushi environment that's contemporarily adorned but comfortable, with real candles and TVs for catching a game—or in the case of last night, the NBA draft. When the weather's nice, the space opens in many ways to become delightfully airy.The sushi and service are as alluring as the atmosphere, with reasonable prices for an all-around excellent value. My only complaint is that a side of steamed veggies requires a full entree.

One of the best sushi lunches I have had in a while. Very fresh sushi served with a delicious miso soup and ginger salad. Very fairly priced for 3 rolls at 14.95...I will definitely be back soon

Amber has consistently good sushi for very decent prices. I tend to order basic rolls so I can't comment on the special ones but they have a good variety to chose from. Clientele goes from teenagers and young adult to older people. Kids are welcome

I wasn't overly thrilled with my visit to Amber. Service was friendly, but the rolls I tried (Spider and Red Dragon) were only ok. The cake we ordered for dessert came out frozen and was pretty awful. I wasn't thrilled with my cocktail (sparkling sangria) either. There is better sushi in this neighborhood.

I haven't been to Amber in a while, and I must say I like the new look. It makes it a lot more spacious, with an airy vibe and open spaces. It makes it look more inviting, although I must admit the bamboo that split the space was super cute and I wish it was still there. That being said, the menu is still the same, the staff is still as friendly as ever and the sushi station is still present. The food tastes great, the shumai is super fresh and I love their pineapple fried rice. Their sizzling hot plates are also really good. They have great service so I will be back again soon.

Great quality and a good deal for lunch

It was amazing, the food was delicious and the place was casual and homey. There are all types of Asian cuisine, and it's all really good. The staff there are kind and awesome, and the dessert is yummy. I recommend trying the Salmon Lover Fans sashimi platter. It was so delicious. Highly recommend going here!
